Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using PillCaller("Service", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PillCaller is an automated medication reminder platform for families in Bangladesh. The Service delivers outbound IVR (Interactive Voice Response) telephone calls to patients at scheduled medication times, and sends WhatsApp notifications to the registered caretaker when a dose is missed or a daily summary is ready.

PillCaller is NOT a medical device, medical service, or healthcare provider. The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, or prescribe medication. Always follow the instructions of a licensed physician or pharmacist.

3. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address, your name, and a Bangladesh mobile number to register. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to register. Accounts are for individual caretakers only — they are not transferable.

4. Patient Data

When you add a patient (a family member or person in your care), you are providing that person's phone number and medication schedule to the Service for the sole purpose of delivering medication reminders on your behalf. You confirm that:

• You have the patient's consent to enrol them in the Service.
• The phone number belongs to the patient you are registering.
• You will promptly remove a patient if they withdraw consent.

5. Subscription & Payment

The Service is offered under subscription plans billed in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT). Payments are processed by ShurjoPay, a licensed payment gateway in Bangladesh. Your payment is subject to ShurjoPay's terms and conditions in addition to these Terms.

A free trial period is available to new accounts. After the trial ends, continued use requires an active paid subscription. Unused trial days are not refunded.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. To cancel, visit the Subscription page in your dashboard.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any purpose other than personal family medication reminders.
• Add phone numbers without the owner's consent.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the IVR or API systems.
• Use the Service to harass, spam, or harm any person.

7. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. IVR call delivery depends on Bangladesh telecommunications network availability. We are not liable for missed calls due to network outages, number unavailability, or third-party carrier issues.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PillCaller shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to a missed medication dose or adverse health outcome.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the account settings. Upon deletion, personal data is anonymised within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users by email before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka.
